Important we stand our ground': Players and fans condemn European Super League

Players and aficionados of Liverpool and Leeds Joined stood firm against the European Super Association, the questionable rivalry that is relied upon to change the essence of football, during the sides' Head Group game on Monday.

Fan fights were held external Leeds' Elland Street arena and a pennant that read "#saynotosuperleague" was flown absurd before the opening shot.

On the pitch, Leeds players wore shirts with the words "Football is for the fans" and "Acquire it" close by a Heroes Association logo during their warmup - a reference to groups fitting the bill to play in the Bosses Class, which wouldn't be the situation for establishing clubs of the Super Alliance.

Liverpool is one of 12 groups to have pursued the opposition, a breakaway European association as of now highlighting top groups from Britain, Spain and Italy.

Most groups associated with the opposition, which could start as right on time as in the not so distant future and produce more income than the current European rivalries, would be lasting individuals.

"It's stunning the things they're discussing, I can't exactly fathom them," Leeds forward Patrick Bamford disclosed to Sky Sports after Monday's down, which finished 1-1.

"It's stunning the measure of commotion that comes into the game when someone's pockets are being harmed. It's a disgrace dislike that with different things that turn out badly at the moment - with prejudice.

"I haven't seen one football fan who's cheerful about the choice and I think football at last is for the fans. Without the fans, each and every club would be essentially nothing. So I believe that it's significant that we hold fast and show football is for the fans and attempt to keep it that way."
